beauty of formal ritual with the approachability of popular musical idioms, we
present two non-traditional settings of the traditional Latin Mass. The Missa Popularis by Mårten Jansson,

tunes, while Bob Chilcott’s A Little Jazz
Mass infuses the Latin Mass with driving rhythms, jazz lullabies, and blues
riffs. The two masses will be accompanied by excerpts from Fauré’s gentle and sublime Requiem, as we find beauty, meaning, and
comfort in these old Latin texts in today’s transformed and transforming world.
