Burlington's New Official Plan

 Report Available: Rural, Natural Heritage and Sustainability Policy Directions 

December 8, 2016


As part of the New Official Plan, Planning staff have prepared a report titled "Rural, Natural Heritage and Sustainability Policy Directions" (PB-83-16). The report includes policy recommendations related to the Rural Area, including agriculture and cultural heritage landscapes, and city-wide policies related to the Natural Heritage System, mineral aggregate resources, golf courses and sustainability.
The report including staff recommendations and all appendices are now available on the city's Council agenda page and  will be considered at the Committee of the Whole meeting of City Council on Thursday, December 15th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., Council Chambers, second level, Burlington City Hall.
