What Is The Aztlan Entertainment District?

The Aztlán Entertainment District  is a mixed uses development that sets on 48 Acres on Interstate 10.  It is adjacent to the Eagle Fall Golf Course and in between two awarding winning Native American Resort Casinos.  All properties are less than 600 yards of each other and joined by a tunnel under Interstate 10. 

Included in the District will be:  Two Award Winning Native American Casinos, 5-Star Fantasy Springs Resort (250 Beds), Eagle Falls Golf Course, home the Frank Sinatra Classic, Fantasy Bowling Lanes, 16-Theater Maya Cineplex,  Return to Aztlán Theme Park,  Aztlán Resort Hotel (250 Rooms), Aztlán Studio and Film School, 195 Homes on Golf Course,  and 197 Vacation Villas.

The Cabazon Band of Mission owns Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, Special Events Center, and Eagle Falls Golf Course. The Fantasy Springs Management Team has a longstanding record of successful Resort Hotel Management running Trump Resorts in Atlantic City for 15 years.   Occupancy is at 93% year round at Fantasy Springs.

In eight years, this award winning team has turned Fantasy Spring into the top entertainment venue in Coachella Valley. They will manage Return to Aztlan Resort Hotel which will be the first hotel developed in the City of Coachella.
Maya Cinema  16-Theater Cineplex
Moctesuma Esparza is an award-winning  producer,   entertainment executive, entrepreneur and community activist. Mr. Esparza is well known for his contributions to the movie industry and commitment to creating opportunities for Latinos everywhere.

Esparza is  CEO of  Maya Cinemas, a theater chain catering to the United States Latino audience. Esparza. Maya Cinemas will help develop a $20 MM 16 Theater Cineplex within the Entertainment. District. The 70,000 square-foot facility will bring Dolby Atmos Sound, the first sound system of its kind in the county, as well as plush leather, super-wide recliner and rocker seats.
Golf Course Homes & Villas

There is over 600 Acres of undeveloped land in the Aztlán Entertainment District available for expansion.  In Phase II, the plan is to develop Golf Course Homes and Villas on the 92 Acre parcel setting north of the Theme Park and adjacent to the Golf Course. 

This parcel has been entitled for 145 Homes on the Golf Course and another 147 Vacation Villas. Included in the development will be a Clubhouse with swimming pool, tennis court, and exercise facilities.
Return to Aztlan Theme Park

VisionMakerWorldwide is currently developing  billion dollar resorts in China and Qatar.They are developing a Native American Cultural Center in Oklahoma City, OK, and a Water Park in Orlando, FL.  In 2007, they were the largest operator of Theme Parks and Family Entertainment Center in the US with over 40 Properties.

With over 30 years with the Disney Company and Universal, VisionMaker will supervise the development and manage the operations of the Theme Park.

Aztlan Studios and Film Institute

Aztlán Studios and Film Institute will be a collaborative effort of Academy Award winning Producer Gray Frederickson, the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians, Local Colleges and Universities, and  Aztlán Development,
Frederickson is from Oklahoma and a graduate of Oklahoma University. He moved back home to established an award winning film program in his hometown at Oklahoma CommunityCollege (OCCC), one of the best film schools in the country along with USC, Full Sail, and Chapman.
The Studios and Film School will be based upon the award winning Oklahoma City Community College  Film School.

Aztlan Development's Strategic Partners gathered for a Special Champagne Brunch to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Godfather Trilogy and to preview Aztlan Studios and Film Institute.
